Educational CoordinatorPosition: Educational CoordinatorBeginning Date: ImmediatelyReports To: Director of Upward Bound and Talent SearchAbout the Position: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the delivery of educational support services to middle and high school students of the TRIO Talent Search Program.Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Master's degree preferred.. Work experience in related field.. Valid driver's license.Job Responsibilities: . Provide personal, career, and academic counseling for participants.. Assist with marketing, recruitment and retention of students.. Plan, coordinate, and deliver curriculum designed to enhance academic performance of student participants.. Meet with students in their schools and facilitate the recruitment process.. Work with high school personnel and on-campus resources.. Develop and revise tutorial sessions and supervise tutors.. Track participants' progress and advise students on career decision making.. Plan and implement campus visits, field trips.. Use excellent communication and human relation skills.. Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality.Employment Conditions: This is a part-time, 9-month, grade 7, administrative position working 25 hours per week with an annual wage of $17,223. Flexible hours may include some nights and some weekend hours.
